I've heard many times that doing this, it's not always is a good idea, you could neglect other important areas of your life like finances or familly, what do you think about ?

Hi Rostereo,

To answer your question, yes its very important that everybody should follow their passion. Reason is because you will be happy with the things that you are happy about. Its like for example Im into personal development and when I talk to someone who needs some inspiration, I get energised. So definitely yes do what you are passionate about. Do what makes your mind and body energised.
Hope this answered your question

The implication behind that question is that passion is incompatible with family and finances.  All the important areas in your life ought to be pursued with passion;  if you can't pursue it with passion, then you're overstating how important it is.

Well there does need to be a balance in life. Like you said if you focus on one thing greater then the other and neglect the more valuable and vital things in life like family, then you need to organize your priorities better.

Yes you should. As when  we follow our passion in life we start to begin living our life in obedience to certain and specific laws that not only bring our abundance but the abundance for others.

Its when we  live  in contradiction to these laws that we experience the negative side of passion...our passion should never cross over into the realm of greed.

Like so many things in life, it's about balance. Follow your passion, while also trying to take care of other important parts of your life.
Perhaps there are some ways to combine your passions with wealth hand relations? Yet that may not always be the case.
Like 'TheCloud' is hinting on, I think one should strive to become more passionate in general - so that you can broaden the scope of what you feel passionate about.  :)
