Hi everyone,  What a brilliant forum and such wonderful people on it.
I'm from N.Z. which sometimes make it a bit more difficult on forums due to the time difference ... you're all asleep when I'm awake  :)

I'm over 60 and have been working on my Personal Development all my life - I believe it's an ongoing journey.  What makes it amazing is that I'm still learning and still developing and loving the process.

Look forward to "talking" to you

Hello everyone and Greetings from Durham in the north east of England.

My name is David and I have long been interested in improving myself and personal development, with a particular interest in nutrition, wellbeing, lifestyle, attitude and latterly learning to design my own life, rather than living by accident.

I designed my early retirement in March this year from my full time job of the last 20 years working in the shipping industry, and have made further significant changes to my life since then.

I now do what I want to do, when I want to do it, and at the pace I choose to go at. I am now much more stress free, have more energy, feel better, sleep better, and am happier than I have been for ages.

I am now learning to be a health and wellness coach and look forward to helping people improve all aspects of their lifestyle for a much healthier and happier life.

I look forward to sharing knowledge and experiences with other forum members :)

Hello Excelling Individuals,

My Name is Jack. I am located in Ireland and I am quickly approaching nineteen.
I've been into this stuff for a while but never implemented. After a rocky teenage years, and attempting to commit suicide on years eve. I have a specific set of goals which I intend to put all of my effort forward to achieve.

I recently dropped out of secondary school (I may sit the exam next year depending on time) and hope to beat the odds and be an inspirational story and give value to the world.
It's either I make my business work or I am living on the streets :)

I am passionate about bodybuilding, cold approach, meditation, reading, piano, chess and just growing as a person.
I hope to one day have a successful business where I can help people and make enough to be financial free.

Stay Strong and Achieve Friends.

Hi im new here and this site seems so wonderfully positive that I feel really out of place! I will tell you a little about myself.  Im 42 and have 2 teenage kids a home, a part time job and a hubby.  Life is quite hard as we don't have much money and my hubbys health not good but the main problem I have is with my mental health.  I have an anxiety disorder (GAD) and also (OCPD) which is obsessive compulsive personality disorder. I have had lots of counselling in the past and im trying to use self help at the moment but its a struggle.  So - I took to going through the internet in the hope I could find sites to encourage me.  Ive always been a negative thinker since being a child, I was never encouraged to do anything else and so now as the years are passing by I am continuously suffering with depression and anxiety, all of which are a result of the thoughts and behaviours I have.  Im trying to use CBT ideas to challenge my thoughts but I could really do with some help from you guys.  Just reading the positive and happy words on here make me feel there is hope and happiness to be found, any tips from any experts would be much appreciated. Dawn XX

Hi friends,

I am Arpita from India and am a fresh joinee of the forum. Great to read about all of you who have newly joined the forum as also who were there earlier.

I believe in constantly growing in every way and wish the same for everyone. After battling long with obesity, food addiction and a string of toxic situations and people in my life, I've finally managed to knock off 50 pounds. I now make healthful life choices and treat myself with compassion. :) :)

I am a writer and simply live to write. I am working on my blog which I would soon be sharing with you all. I am also working on a book.  :)

I am a reader too. Reading all kinds of self help books, finding out more about the spiritual realm and Quantum Physics, is what consumes me the most. I sincerely believe we're all here on this earth for a Divine mission, and helping each other to fulfill that mission is something which is our moral duty. I aim for world peace and wish to spread the same through my work and life. :)
I also love to travel however have not traveled much till date but have great hopes for the future. Besides, I love cooking, listening to music and singing. Hope to grow and support everyone's growth via this forum :)  I'm sure we all would learn so much from each other. Cheers!
